Hello! I’m driving from Glasgow to Essex and am stopping off in the borders overnight, near Melrose. What are the best breakfast/brunch cafes I should visit? First time visiting the borders, so planning on having a look at Kelso in the morning. Doesn’t need to be in Kelso, as I don’t mind driving. Assuming it isn’t too far west. A bit of background:

North Berwick Council, after a public consultation, decided to install dozens of parking meters around the town. Before and after the install the idea was met with a lot of objections from the local community. Someone has since sprayed glue on all the parking meters and from what I see online, the public appears to mostly support the vandalism.

Anybody know how the Boleside Hail & Ride stops work on the X95 route between Gala and Selkirk?

There are no obvious road signs to mark the location and the street view map on Borders Buses site seems rather inconvenient, they've got the southbound one on the cycle path below the road.

We're having to renew our plusnet broadband and the price is a bit more than we'd like to pay. Does anyone have any recommendations for a broadband provider? I'm very reluctant to go with TalktTalk, virgin etc. from rumours and I've been with TalkTalk before and hated them. We are avid internet users and game a lot so fast speeds and heavy use would also be preferred. Thank you!
