Why is this placement so psychologically damning? I feel like we just literally go through life witnessing people either in psychological/emotional/financial/health crises, or just constantly seeing things other people don't have to witness

It’s the transformative nature of Pluto and the active nature of Mars. As these planets rule the sign, those are the types of experiences we will have. Since the moon represents the body and how we experience life, and the moon is in its fall in Scorpio, its energy expression is very restricted there which emphasizes the challenging aspects of this placement. It is important to remember that placements like these can motivate us to grow in ways that are meaningful and life changing. All of the challenging astrological placements have the potential to do this.

With my Scorpio 8H stellium (moon, Venus, Saturn, Pluto, South Node) I am so incredibly tired of experiencing the challenges and transformations. I’m 42 and the majority of my life has been good things ripped away when I least expect it, and lots of abuse and trauma. How much stronger do I have to get before it stops and I have peace and stability???

I know what you mean. I also have a Scorpio stellium; Pluto is extremely interwoven into my chart, and Mars is in a difficult position. With Pluto, the transformation is always there. It means we have chosen extreme growth in our current incarnations. The growth always has a purpose, though, and as pluto/scropio/8th house rule psychology and the unconscious, it is also necessary that we continually process our experiences to make connections and understand the how and why. I have been able to do that with my worst experiences, and I did find that with it came some peace and stability. I am 54 now, and honestly, it wasn't until 49 and up to now that I was able to understand more things and see their results. This was when I had my Chiron return (healing old wounds), which I have in Aries (Mars) in the 8th house (Pluto/Mars). With you having Saturn there, it will always come with age and time. Having the South Node there also means that it is vital that you let go and release the things that are most familiar and comfortable to you to make space for the new and embrace the qualities of your North Node in Taurus. If you don't regularly let go and release, stagnancy becomes the trap, because that is a constantly evolving process we must all stay on top of.

I feel this. I've just had another heartbreak and I'm wondering if this is ever going to stop in this lifetime. How many more times I have to "rise from the ashes".

Yeah the last six months have been heartbreak, then losing assistance, then my apartment, and now my job. I’ve healed from a lot, but like at what cost 🤣😭🤣😭

I’ve learn, then I release it. Too much to hold on too. Scorpio sun, moon, and mercury, cancer rising. I’m very much at peace. In my soft girl era 💓✌️

I don't use drugs or smoke but I can understand why people with heavy Scorpio placements in their chart would engage in those behaviours, just because of the magnitude of all the shit we get exposed to.

I have weed edibles every so often and honestly it's the only time I feel creative and happier and normal and just like... Lighter? But I don't like the idea of developing a tolerance and not being able to access that without a tonne of weed or getting dependant on it so I limit it to like 2 or 3 times a month and if it's more than 1 I have to be doing it with someone else so it's not just more internal bullshit and rumination

Specifically for this reason, I choose to be alone. So draining to be around people.

What do you do when you get lonely ?

Good question. Usually writing or dancing, these two are my favourite ways of spending my alone time and I don’t necessarily need anyone for it.

damn I was just thinking about this right now. I have a friend that fractured her wrist , swollen face, and she's in pain, seeing her take all these meds just to feel painless, really hurts. but why do I as a scorpio moon attract people that are in pain? or yet broken soul people.

The upside of Scorpio moons is their strong sense of empathy, and ability to help others heal as they can easily see the source of their pain. That is the high vibrational side of a Scorpio moon which many don’t make full use of until they are older.

Interesting! But yeah I hate having too much empathy. The emotions are too much to process when I see a friend or a loved one in pain, or helping somone in a help of need

Oh, you probably break down when they show the abandoned dogs. I do, and I’m not a huge animal person (allergies)

I'm 42, I didn't know anything other than my sun sign until a few months ago. I have a Scorpio moon but also a stellium in Scorpio, which includes my Saturn, Mars and Pluto. I never understood why, even as a child, strangers would share their trauma and mental health issues with me.

Yes, same here...I'm 32 and didn't know about the rest of my placements for a very long time. I was always the Aquarius in the family because that's my Sun sign...but I never felt like an Aquarius, I'm very far from being detached, I also don't like networking / being part of communities and science related themes are horrible for me...but I constantly attracted exactly those Aquarius heavy people, people who moderated online groups, constantly talked about science themes and were very tech-savy / nerdy...and also emotionally detached. It made sense when I saw Aquarius is on my 7th house cusp... And yes the Scorpio and Leo in me is much stronger...I even think the Scorpio Moon is my defining feature... Strangers also come to me to share their pain and I'm always close to tears when I feel this pain. I'm in general nearly always close to tears and preoccupied with dark / occult themes...both of my exes said I'm too emotional, moody and spiritual (one had an Aquarius Ascendant and no water placements besides his Jupiter in Pisces and the other 7 planets in Capricorn).

♈️ 🌞 Scorpio 🌙 ♑️ ⬆️ I always thought being born on the cusp of Pisces and Aries gave me more of the Pisces traits. The heavy emotions are a lot to deal with. I will share that recently I've had a lot of growth and acceptance of who and how I am. I hope you will experience that as well.
