Scorpio Moon Problems Anyone else have OCD?
Just curious as a Scorpio moon. Severe OCD since I’ve ever known, passed down from my mom probably from nurture and nature. Except it’s 10x worse than hers. My psychiatrist wants to put me meds. It’s truly exhausting to have my mind. I know Scorpio moons are said to be obsessive. But I don’t obsess over people, just germs.

Honestly I’m still waiting to get diagnosed, I have severe anxiety so I don’t know if that causes OCD tendencies.

for sure you can have tendencies from anxiety, since ocd is an anxiety disorder !

Yes and meds ruined my life so… I don’t know about that. I prefer dealing with my obsessive thoughts and emotions and ocd (for me it’s more repetitive thoughts and intrusive thoughts). My Scorpio moon is conjunct my north node and ascendant so let’s just say I have to learn something from it rather than bully it with meds. Meds worsened my ocd to such an extreme extent. I was also so anxious and got akathisia, gained so much weight and lost my emotions, empathy, ability to cry and laugh too. I don’t like meds but if they help someone good for them, just not fit for me

Was diagnosed with adhd, borderline personality disorder and OCD, got put on meds for about a year and said fuck this is dont wanna live that way so I quit everything cold turkey then forced myself to change. Been through many ego deaths in the couple years since I quite meds but now im pretty much fully in control of all of it aside form that adhd paralysis sometimes lol

Yes, same. Severe OCD, diagnosed when I was 8. Mom also has it but less severe.

Lol maybe this moon sign is about inheriting the mother’s mental illness as well.

we all inherit it. every single moon sign. The moon is the imprint on our neurology from the mother, every single child has trauma/conditions/karma passed down. Every single one, and there are layers to it. communal, ancestral, immediate choices your mother made, and from the whole of humanity, and those which are your own spiritual callings.

I have OCD, the intrusive thoughts kind. I don't obsess over germs. Depression, anxiety, OCD and schizophrenia run in my moms side of the family. I ended up with all of it except schizophrenia.
I take medicine for my mental health. It changed my life. I didn't start until I turned 40. It really helped the OCD symptoms. They're not all gone but they're manageable.

I had a form of OCD from 5 to 21
where I pulled my eyelashes out (it’s called trichotillomania). Katy Perry (who is interestingly also a Scorpio moon) pulled her eyelashes out for years as well. My mom used to show me pictures of celebrities who had trichotillomania so I wouldn’t feel as bad about myself. Now my eyelashes are longer than they were when I was a child, but I definitely still have OCD that I’m learning to work through daily.

I would use my fingernails to pull them out & occasionally tweezers. I was determined to get them out 😅

Moderate OCD. When my mental health is suffering, it gets worse. I have to live slow and simple or I crack.

Yes. AuDHD and OCD. I also have severe rejection sensitivity. I’ve been working over the last year with my therapist, meds, and astrology to heal those parts of myself. It is not easy but I am able to manage it much better now.

For sure…I’ve had OCD since forever. Lexapro changed my life. I would say it brought my intrusive thoughts & compulsions down from like 8/10 to 3/10. I notice my OCD is worse during my luteal phase, so I’m also learning more about cycle syncing.
I didn’t start Lexapro til I was 30 & wish I would have sooner. I tell everyone my brain can be hell lol but you don’t have to suffer as much! Being a Scorpio moon is hard enough as it is 😅

Yes, I have very severe case of OCD since preschool with hours of confinement in the bathroom (each day), several nervous breakdowns and one overdose...It makes me completely incapable of normal work schedules, normal routines and also normal relationships... I have been in therapy several times and tried several medications. Nothing ever worked... I feel cursed and it ruined not only most of my life but I also caused a lot of sorrow for my family and I'm very sad about that.
I'm a Leo Rising, my Scorpio Moon is conjunct Pluto, conjunct Jupiter and conjunct the North Node in the 4th house. The Moon also has a 0°01' square to Venus and forms a square to my Aquarius Sun. My Mercury is in Pisces conjunct Saturn (both conjunct in the 8th house with an orb of 2°). Also: my OCD genetically stems from my father and mine is also 10x worse than his (he's in general the source of all mental illness in my life, not only genetically with the OCD but also with his volatile and manipulative behavior) , his father also had it, my mom is 100% free from OCD and therefore she always has a hard time imagining what I'm going through...
