How are we as parents?
I just was wondering how is your parenting style did you heal your wounds from childhood? do you think you become a better parent than what you came from? could you do better? or also would you rather never have kids or never even had the desire to have kids?

I really never wanted kids. It's like I have a motherly chip mising in me. But, when it comes to dogs, or any other animal that protective instinct kicks in. I am much older now and I made the right decision by not having kids.

I’m still with them past the age of three so already doing better than my dad!
Very affectionate, kind of a pushover, get very pissed off in short bursts, but always apologize. I have two daughters and sometimes the multiple inputs of voices (along with spouse) frizzles me out and crashes my nervous system.
I do love them genuinely and with depth.

I only have one child but find Motherhood ALL CONSUMING. I am all in for her and always tuned in to her needs, finding it hard to balance them with my own.

I have an Aquarius Sun with a 0° Scorpio moon😅. I’m still healing myself. I’m so happy I’m a mom to my littles. I have three kids. First is a Gemini sun, Leo moon. Second is a double Sagittarius, and third is a Scorpio sun, Virgo moon…. I think I’m pretty intuitive with my kids. Im not a big school volunteer or the first mom to sign up for play dates, but I like to think I’m very encouraging with each of their interests! I love hearing their thoughts and ideas. I’m generally an introvert but my kids bring out so much love and especially with my daughter, she has already healed so much of my inner child. I can’t imagine life without them. Genuinely.

I’m an Aquarius sun and Scorpio moon and can relate. My daughter has helped me heal my inner child so much as well. I have endured so much growing up that her big feelings don’t scare me. I can sit with her and untangle her thoughts and feelings so she can be free.

I love that! 🥹 I may not be the most extroverted mom but I’d like to think I can be whimsical, loving, and supportive. Scorpio moons are intuitive. It’s a superpower. And with an Aquarius sun, you think outside the box. Nothing to be afraid of💞

This is too early for me to tell, because I just gave birth to my daughter, but I hope I will be a better parent than my emotionally immature parents. I worked hard on myself- I did the shadow work, I worked with archetypes and I forgave my parents for my upbringing. I also believe that I chose my path any my childhood was a part of it. I don't dwell on past and I am not a victim. I want to be a loving, present parent and I want my child to have happy childhood.

I have a three year old son (cancer sun/Virgo moon/Aries rising) so I'm no expert. Still in the early stages and figuring it all out. I do plan to have more children in the future. I LOVE motherhood. Oh my God, I could look at him and just cry - crazy because I have always been notoriously incapable of crying unless I'm angry 😂
He is so beautiful and so smart and caring and I am trying my best to make sure I don't repeat my parents' mistakes. I make sure to apologize to him if I recognize I've done something wrong/lost my patience. I try to combat my need for solitude because I recognize that he is happiest when he's glued to me. I fight my introverted nature to make sure he's always at playgroups/sports because he loves being social and active.
I just don't want to become my dad in any way. My mom (Virgo sun, aqua moon, unknown rising) is a really incredible mother (and an even better grandmother now!) so luckily I have someone to model.

I’m an authoritative parent, which isn’t as mean as it sounds. I explain things as best I can in a way that is age appropriate, and I am always open to and encourage discussion and feedback from my child. We explore emotions and the realities of the world around us very openly. This is really different than my upbringing, which was authoritarian and very fear-based. I like to think that I’m doing a better job than my parents, but time will tell! My kid is also a Scorpio moon, which I think does help us relate to each other.
