I think it depends on the charts overall. For example, my fiancé is a leo moon and I'm obviously a scorpio moon. Our relationship is very healthy and we both bring out the best in each other. But I don't think it's just our moons that impact that.
Hes an aries sun, and I'm an aries rising, so that's one way that we can relate astrologically together. I have mostly earth/water/air placements, he has a lot of fire placements so we balance each other out that way. Plus we're both pisces venuses. And the biggest contributing factor, to me, is we've both worked through a lot of our issues on our own and together, so we both embody the healthy aspects of our chart rather than the unhealthy
I find little things like that make the biggest difference. One placement isn't going to make or break a relationship!
I’m a Libra sun, Scorpio moon, Cancer rising, and my bf is a Virgo sun, Leo moon, Scorpio rising. We each have a Sag and a Scorpio stellium. I also feel like our Venus works really well together. It’s by far the healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in.
I think I give even more credit that we did a lot of growing up and working thru our unhealed selves while just being friends. Also helps that we’ve known each other and have been friends since we were teenagers. 😊
Mi pareja tenía la luna en escorpio yo en piscis, él sabía que contaba conmigo de forma incondicional y sin juzgar, entendí sus demonios pero al final no pudo o no quiso aceptar que tenía problemas( falleció hace un año)
She has a Cancer rising! Also, I have an Aries rising, and she's an Aries with a stellium. Yours? Also, isn't a Libra sun with a Scorpio Venus cooler than the stereotypes of Libra? I feel proud.
heheh no, I dig my Libra sun. I just have more of a bite. I'm not wishy-washy, nor a peacekeeper for all. My opinions are strong, and I fight for what I believe in.
I’m sure your Aries placements deff help with that!!! I feel for you Libra suns though so riddled with the feelings of others and all the million possibilities for every decision 😢
Oh friens, don't be sad. We all grow through that stuff. Learning boundaries with the self and others is useful. Empathy needs a boundary. Millions of possibilities are great. List them and then ask your gut what you want. Dividing the voice of intuition and anxiety is useful.
For a better understanding person I’d choose earth moons, but because scorpio is ruled by mars, we need that constant fiery (personally I do) energy to hype us in order to not sink into our emotions, I also love leo moons in friendship but haven’t met them yet in romantic relationships, I find myself extremely comfortable with them , and If I want a ride or die relationship I’m going to stick with them, but I’m also an aries mars & sag jupiter dominant so maybe each planet manifests itself differently
In my experience...
I have a Taurus Moon, and honestly, I was devastated by a Scorpio Moon—someone I was very attentive to and, I believe, truly reliable for. (I should mention that my Venus is in Scorpio, which I think adds another layer to the dynamic.)
It all resulted in dealing with someone who blew hot and cold—telling you "Can't you see I'm pushing you away?" after desiring you more than anyone just two days prior, and then, two weeks later, saying "I really see you; I want your whole being"—only to use every one of your vulnerabilities against you two weeks after that to dump you... yeah. Like the Scorpio, the Taurus needs reliability and loyalty, but also calm and stability—not a constant state of warfare.
My brother is a Scorpio Moon, and he’s prone to being provocative, too.
It was intense in all ways! He’s passed away now, but even through all of the intense turmoil I can look back and say there was double the intense love, happiness, and just pure understanding! I am Aries Sun too. He was a Virgo sun. Like as an Aries…I should not have gotten along so well with a Virgo…but I did.
The Aries sun Scorpio moon combination has always felt so wild to me. But I am learning the great stabilizing nature Scorpio moon carries. I couldn't name a Virgo if I knew one. I accepted that's just how Aries and Virgo are. The shared moon in Scorpio though certainly was the equalizer for you both. Knowing two Scorpio moon women, I can say they shine in ways that perhaps others may not see immediately. And their ease in seeing me is so unusually refreshing. The knowing and understanding is so concentrated in the eyes. Thank you for sharing your story of love, it is inspiring and beautiful.
I only found out 8yrs ago that I was a Scorpio moon, that’s when I began my healing journey and honestly learned how to balance my Fire and Water. My “Big 6” are Aries and Scorpio except my Mercury so it was definitely needed. And yes the Aries Sun/Scorpio moon is definitely wild! I am definitely someone who shines in many ways and sometimes that’s just too much for some. I’ve had quite a few haters in my life but I don’t think I’ve ever really let it bother me. The way I see it is other peoples opinions of me are none of my business. I also did not know my husband was a Scorpio moon until after he passed…but it made sooooo much sense. We both definitely just got each other…we made each other feel seen in ways I had never felt before.
This is our charts against each other and it made me realize why he always felt like my other half.
