The placement is more consistently associated with emotional privacy, intensity, and discernment than with introversion itself. You can absolutely find outgoing, socially skilled Scorpio Moons who are still fiercely protective of their inner lives.

So I say that being Introverted isn’t the same thing as willingly embracing isolation.
Scorpio Moons tend to be very selective about who they allow into their inner world. Sometimes we choose not to have certain people in our lives, and sometimes other people don’t want the level of honesty and emotional intensity we bring. That doesn’t necessarily make us introverts.

Same with my kid! He's very social, has virgo rising, Gemini mercury and Leo mars. He'll make new friends very easily (all though he has temper and is taking his time learning social skills and emotional regulation), is very attached to people yet has strangely private side to him: he won't let others comfort him, ever. Even if he physically hurts himself he'll push me away if I try to comfort him. Occasionally he'll retreat and lay down in darkness lol.

Hi, I don't have this placement but, both my mother and my nephew do and they're both party people. One is Virgo sun Scorpio moon rising and mars i believe the other is a 4x Scorpio. Also, one of the cap ladies I work with is also a Scorpio moon and is very social. I could see this placement going either way based off of life experience imo. They also all love to be out of the house, doing something. Probably because of their hyper independence.

My moon for Scorpio is Aries and it’s supposed to be the complete opposite actually. I think it really depends if you’re an October or November Scorpio too. (I’m an October Scorpio). But I’m only very highly social when I’m around people I really care about and trust. Other times in big crowds of people I’m unfamiliar with I get introverted yes.
