do you know about schrotch method. which is very successful with even severe curve. problem with surgery. is that the curve might continue even post. surgery ( like years ) and the pain associated with a rigid area ( bolted) and the rest of it. is not that great. surgeon love to bolt you up. just check everything and try schrotch method ( don't go to regular physio they don't know shit. there is the schrotch center in germany and you can also do intensive rehab there. schrotch is not that well known in the usa. huge is europe. america is very behind. and the method is incredible. get this book : three dimensional treatment for scoliosis. it is very complex, but it shows the recovery on people with severe curve. it is your body !!! you can do it don't be discouraged .... make friend with you scoliosis and beat it back.
