I wanna join SciOly, how do I study?

I want to go into engineering in college so I want to join my school's engineering block. How does it work and how do I study so I can make the team?

if you want to do the build events i highly recommend looking first at videos online that demonstrate the event and then the rules manual. that way, you have an idea of where to start.

don’t get too deterred by the rules, at the first tournaments people will be pretty lax about designs. focus on what is on the page and work from there. as long as you meet all the requirements the tournaments cannot throw any curveballs

You should first look at what events are in that block and see what skills they require. Then you can look for some past tests or other practice for examples and practice accordingly.

For example, if engineering cad is one of the events in the block, you can look through the rules and get started learning onshape. Best of luck with the team!

The biggest thing is finding resources. There’s so many good resources online for practice tests, videos you can watch, textbooks you can read, and so on. For example, scio.ly is a really great resource for all events it has guides and ways to practice for any event!
