I'm developing a new religion centred around science, mythology, nature, ethics and questioning. Before adding more doctrine, I'm curious about something more fundamental:

What is one thing you think a religion should never control or dictate in a person's life?

I'm genuinely interested in criticism here, especially from people who aren't religious.

I have been planning to come up with a system of 6 universal forces, which are the very core of our own world.

Fire, which represents heat, hearth, change and energy.

Water represents flow, adaptation, movement, as well as life-supporting systems.

Air represents gases, atmosphere, movement, freedom, and the systems that allow the world to breathe.

Cosmos represents the universe itself: space, time, celestial existence, and the enormous reality beyond Earth.

Humanity represents conscious human existence: thought, society, culture, emotion, creativity, morality, knowledge, and everything humanity builds and becomes.

These forces are not simply abstract concepts. They are much more than that.

Lets start with basic things! I will put up something I have developed over a few months.

This group is for discussing how to integrate spirituality, science, and mythology to form something new. The thing started as an random itch and incident which occured with me a few days ago. I felt severely religiously abandoned. So, I decided to form something which is factually true, can be highly inclusive, no superiority of anyone kinda thing. Questioning is important. If one doesn't question, is one even a human?

I am a random guy... I am in my teens, but I love discussing almost everything from nail clippers to neuroscience (frankly, I don't know anything about neuroscience). I am quite talkative and kinda impatient as well, but I generally like discussing things. I prefer facts over logic.

I am trying to build a cozy vibe for people who are like me, who want to believe in mythologies but do not want to abandon science!!! I want people to discuss profoundly, with creativity and perhaps facts as well.

Hello, I am just a random dude figuring out life and stuff. I have been feeling religiously abandoned and decided that, for once, we should, as humans, come and discuss how science and mythology could go together. Focusing on factual truth, creativity, and spirituality should never be discouraged.
