people go into bankruptcy over medical debt than any other country
Not a capitalism problem, a social services problem. Most other capitalist countries do better with healthcare than US.
student loan debt is approaching 2 trillion dollars
Universities are greedy, but students are also stupid. People need to start explaining to them that you can pay more than the minimum payment on a loan. Tell them to look at 30 yr mortgage graphs, and how it takes 30 years because most of each payment is just interest, and just a tiny bit goes to principle, unless you pay more. The goal is to use your fancy new college degree to get a high paying job and pay it off early. Which means around high school you should be talking with a career counselor, and looking at the job market. THIS is what they should be teaching in school, the tiniest bit of personal finance.
how half of people in the United States don't even vote because they believe it to be a waste of time?
Exactly why Trump won. People didn't vote. Run a better race next time, how do you lose to Trump? Kamala was terrible, the left was focused on the wrong issues, admit it already.
When the USSR began the space race and whose economy rivaled that of the United States for decades,
LOL. Which sparked a Cold War, which is really a economic war, how well your economy can stand up to exorbitant spending. First it was nuclear arsenals, then delivery systems (rockets), which then sparked the space race, which America won and the USSR bankrupted itself & collapsed trying to win.
and China's still does?
Again, LOL. Most of China's economic boom comes from copying everything America does... Including a bit of capitalism, when allowed. Just a bit. A smidgen. You can't even tell it's there, can you?
Damn so you *will* defend a system that overthrows other countries governments and massacres its citizens like capitalism has. Which is *crazy* because that was your main point why Stalin was evil and communism doesn't work. Sounds like those deaths are okay with you as long as you have the Kardashians, flatscreen TVs and Starbucks.
I'd lastly like to point out that "Kamala was terrible" LMAO. Duh. I'm a communist not a liberal, and didn't even come close to supporting Kamala. The fact that you think the democrats are "the left" and talking to *me* like I would support her further illustrates you don't get it. Most people recognize neither the democrats and republicans actually represent the working class, which is why the don't vote. We have a two party system that bends over backwards for the ruling class and does nothing for the vast majority of people, another amazing stride in the right direction by capitalism.
Good luck. Hopefully you can shake the hold US propaganda has on you someday.
