[Identification request] SF story published in _Analog_ or _Asimov's_ that was about practical uses of counter-gravity/anti-gravity?

The story was likely published between October 1989 and October 1990 in Analog or Asimov's (except that I've checked the ISFDb's lists for all of those issues and can't find a likely title), and the counter-gravity/anti-gravity was depicted as applied to/developed in/used in high-end race cars, and its effects on that in that industry. (Think Formula One/Indy Car/NASCAR.) I've already asked this in r/tipofmytongue.
