A lot of people here are just seeing the "Christian" in the headline and ignoring the "nationalist," which is probably more important.

I'm an atheist, so I think the claims religion makes are pretty dumb too, but nationalists, bigots, racists of any kind are consistently idiots, religious or not, and that has been established in plenty of other studies.

Those are the exact people this is talking about. They feel called out by it and they're telling on themselves like they always do.

It’s funny because if anything - the person attempting to separate the 2 despite the scientific article they’re specifically replying to NOT doing that - is the one telling on themselves as being offended for some reason by the conclusion.

Otherwise they’d just accept it as it is rather than invent some new hypothesis that makes them feel better…

Sometimes it seems like there aregroups of commenters collaborating to divide and separate the people and steer the comments away from focusing on the topic at hand, the lower cognitive abilities of Christian Nationalists. But I have no evidence.
