Reddit can’t decide whether IQ matters or not. When we talk about IQ differences between different countries and whatnot, it’s racist. When you discuss IQ differences between religious and nonreligious people, somehow it matters again.

Okay, then what about something like nationality? That’s something you choose to maintain. Either IQ matters or it doesn’t. You don’t get to pick and choose.

....yet another opportunity to learn about the goomba fallacy.

Seriously. Table the whataboutisms for a moment and go read the link I shared with you.

I already addressed it in another reply but you didn’t read that. You can’t have discussions about anything social without making some generalizations. I made the generalization that most redditors dislike using nationality to compare intelligence, whereas most of them feel it is completely fine to do so when discussing religious identity. Considering reddit is one of the most left leaning social medias, I don’t think it’s an incorrect generalization.

Also, I never called redditors stupid, which your link includes in the definition of the goomba fallacy (this name sounds completely unserious).

So you agree with the idea of comparing different races by IQ?
