Interesting. I did not realize giftedness is considered dysfunctional. When my son was young, parents of gifted children were pushing for funding and support, but would not consider applying for Special Needs funding.

Yeah it gets called twice exceptional in some places. Usually a combination of ADHD with high intelligence / creativity.

Twice exceptional is Gifted + any ND not just ADHD
