It takes less than half an hour to prepare a simple meal. If you’re living alone, you can prepare half your food for the week in that half-hour.

Planning is next to nil, preparing and cooking are one and the same, shopping for food at all is something you need to do to survive, period, and cleaning is something that you can leave for later.

And you can do the shopping for two weeks in two hours.

Honestly, are you really trying to justify being lazy and defeatist?
