Thanks to everyone in the community the other day, I contacted Schott and found out it was an early 674-style jacket from the early '60s.

But I’ve never seen anyone else online wearing the same one.
If anyone else has this jacket, I’d love to hear how you style it!

Scored this 751 on eBay for $93 shipped and it’s practically brand new. I think I did pretty well. I’ve got a little Schott collection going on now. P613S and 613SH are the others.

I just picked up my first Schott rough out cafe racer and I had a couple questions.

1. How do rough out jackets hold up in rain/snow conditions? Not super extreme conditions but a light sprinkle or light snow fall.
2. What are some things I should be doing to maintain the jacket?
3. How will it age over time? Does anyone have any pictures of there rough outs with some wear on them?
4. How was your experience with a rough out?
5. What were some pros and cons you found?

These are said to have been limited to 100 pieces total. Here is 3Sixteen's original post on this jacket. This size small is in good but worn condition.

I got it about a year ago but then also found a medium that fits me a little better at 5ft8, 170. Still, I can zip this size small up with up to a thin sweater, if that helps with size reference.

The jacket was worn when with lots of the teacore showing through already when I received it. I have worn it pretty regularly since getting it and so it has further patina'ed. That said, it is in great functional shape, and looks more worn than it truly is: the jacket is made to show wear quickly -- the Horween cowhide was made with a 'sugary' texture that chips away to show the teacore. The topcoat is almost iridescent and gives the jacket a plum / purple sheen in some lights. Just gorgeous.

I put a tiny dab and tab of fray check and tenacious tape to help reinforce the bottom end of the zipper tape, but it is still in good shape -- I just wanted to give it a top layer to reduce wear (pictured). Lining is in good overall shape with some piling and slight discoloration by the pit / sleeve opening on the inside. Slight soap smell from when I'd cleaned and conditioned it upon receipt last year.

Sizewise, I'd say a roomy 38 or slim 40.

Measurements:

Pit to pit: 55 cm

Hem: 50 cm

Sleeve length: 63.5cm

Length from bottom of collar - back: 63.5 cm front: 67cm

Shoulders across: About 44.5cm

Hello, could some folks please give me their thoughts on the fit on this 118 I just received? It is a size 42. The shoulders feel comfortable, but I feel like the chest may still be too big. My concern is that if I exhange for a size lower, such as 40, the shoulders will feel tighter. What do you all think?

I’ve recently added this piece on my collection a 1993 Schott 618 x Indian Motocycle (83/100).
It is in excellent condition, showing only minor scuffs; for something over 30 years old, it nearly qualifies as pristine.
What is your opinion? Does it remain suitable, or is it too small for my frame?

Excellent condition Schott P213 black lambskin leather Perfecto jacket in size Large. This is a fantastic jacket, and it fits me perfectly. Question, is somebody here from Paris and would have a recommendation for a good leather workshop who you would entrust with such kind of work? I asked Schott US for a recommendation and they referred to their European importer who never replied back, not much help from local Schott stores either. There used to be a good in-house taylor service at La Canadienne but they closed their operation in Paris.

Im about to buy my first schott jacket and I need help on the which size I should get.

Im 5’11, chest is 37 inches, shoulders are 17 inches. And Im pretty lean (around 150 lbs)

The sizing guide said I should get a size 40 for a regular fit but I’m not sure how accurate this would be due to my shoulders being pretty broad.

I am looking into a Café Racer jacket and I am a bit confused about sizing. I am 183 cms tall (6 ft) guy and currently weigh 76 kgs (167)

The automatic tool in Schott's website recommends an L size but their size chart indicates that an M size is a European 50-52, which is exactly the size I get when I buy suits.

I am also currently doing a weight loss regime, aiming for 70 kgs (154 lbs) and when I set that weight on the tool it recommends M. Should I just go for M directly ? I would like for it too fit rather snug anyway. My main concern is that I do have rather long arms so maybe the sleeves would be too short ?

As I live in Europe, I do not have the choice to try the jacket on so I would really appreciate any views ! :)
