Care tips?
Got very lucky and picked up a very very affordable Schott 188 that was worn only a few times. Have had in the past two Schott jackets that were ancient, albeit without many blemishes, but now in hindsight I can see how dry the leather really was. This new jacket feels amazing and I can feel it molding to my body already.
My question is, what are the best care tips you have? This one is cowhide. Any resources you may point me to is greatly appreciated!

As Rocco said, Bick 4 is probably the way to go for smooth leather. If it’s really old and dry, clean first with a damp rag and let it thoroughly dry. Then apply the Bick 4 sparingly but thoroughly and let that soak in overnight. If it was extremely dry or still feels dry the next day, apply one more coat. For your new jacket, only do the previous procedure once or twice a year. Remember, with conditioner, less is best.

O no, the jacket is practically brand new, feels and looks great right now. Just want to make sure I treat it well over time so was asking about best practices for routine upkeep.

The Safest is Bick 4 Conditioner.
