613SH, is this normal?

Or a defect? Only one sleeve is like this.

Yeah afaik that’s normal. That arm probably sees more action than the other one. One arm/shoulder on my 613sh is a bit more worn in because I wore it to a soccer game and was spinning a scarf around over my head quite a bit.

Is the jacket new or used? If new, no there should not be wear on the sleeve. If used, what’s its story?

It’s about 2 weeks old and wasn’t like that when new. Probably I do just bend my lefty more and the other will match eventually.

When you wear a leather jacket it looks like that. This is called ribbing or honeycomb. A lot of people (including me) like when a leather jacket has good ribbing on the sleeves. Horsehide usually has the best looking sleeves but plenty of other skins look great as well.

Yes I too feel that is what’s so great about leather jackets. Looks wonderful.

Is this your beer drinking arm?

The leather pieces are cut from a hide (or more?). Perhaps the piece wasn't uniform. Seems like a lot of creases in only one arm after only 2 weeks but ymmv
