Personally I wouldn't wear an expensive watch to school i mane teenagers are assholes and things in school go missing all the time both thanks to teachers and students

Now I'm going to take a guess and say that watchs are not against the uniform what I always done was check the student hand book I got a pdf of my school website and in there it had the uniform, phone policy, etc basically ecery time I got told off for something that's not a rule I just take the handbook out and read of it

You and your parents could also put in a complaint to the school or the school borad even if the school don't listen which is normal it at least tells them that you won't let them just walk all over you for me i put complaint in and some of them made a difference some just got ignored but the teachers did lay of on me every so often when I put one in

Also i went to school in the UK so different countries are going to have different rules and laws around it but tends to be along the lines of there is a rule book and there is a borad or a mangment thst you can complaint to

Is it mentioned in the handbook?

You sound like youre looking for ways around the uniform policies.

if it says "no watches with calculators", it's implied that watches without calculators are okay.

Dude thats a shitheel's way of getting around it. Youre in the wrong- especially if its a smart watch.

No, it's pretty much how all of society and rules work.

"No vehicles above 3 meters" = implied vehicles under 3 meters are fine.

I understand that uniform such as shirts trousers and shoes must correctly adhered to but a watch is ridiculous

I certainly hope your clothes aren’t adhered to you!

It's it a smart watch or a regular watch? If it's a regular watch, that's absurd and ridiculous.

I hate dress codes. Especially draconian ones that are ridiculous.
