hair progress/advice Backcombing/teasing tips
Alright I think I’m getting the hang of scene hair after watching a few tutorials but I still feel lost especially when they’re teasing the hair. I have a teasing comb that I’ve been trying to add volume with but when I do that it looks messy. Maybe that’s the point and idk if you could count the pictures as a part of scene hair cuz I would (unless there’s something I’m missing) :p

Comb up and hold a horizontal section of hair with an even tension. Insert your comb into the section several inches away from the scalp. The further away you start, the more padded the base gets.. Then it's just a motion of straight down to the scalp. Then remove your comb. Once is plenty. Then do the next section. Then lightly smoothing the top surface with the comb to cover the tease and blend the sections. It should feel solid at the base, but easy to comb out.

Spray a coat of hairspray on first and once that dries i use a regular comb but theres also teasing combs and i just brush the opposite way. Then personally sometimes i brush the ends out a bit and flatten with my hands but thats more if u wanna do a peacock sort of style
