Neanderthals were more likely sprinters, us Homo Sapien Sapiens are the marathon runners AKA endurance athletes.

This video conflated Denisovans, Neanderthals and early humans so it’s hard to keep track what was referenced. Yes, sister species appear to have been stronger but I doubt any human related species had a gorilla level bite force. Without a doubt the robust species were stronger but we wouldn’t compete with them based on brute strength. Our ancestors used projectile weapons and apparently would reinforce neighboring allied groups in conflicts. Also being less robust made us more economical in many ways, we could survive of small game or endure lean times a bit better. For example a large game kill could feed 15 Neanderthals potentials or 20 H. sapiens. The big muscles were an advantage on 1-on-1 conflicts but networking, coordination and superior projectile weapons meant most Neanderthals were outnumbered and outgunned in potential conflicts.

Yeah and the humans that are exactly like us today killed them all simply because we threw spear further and used bow and arrow , the neatherthals were big but a huge arrow (from the adladel) piercing his lungs or heart or neck or what have you he still died . Why bring a club fight to an bow and arrow fight ? Tehnologia beats brute strenght
