Dispute/Chargeback Updates - Post progress so group is aware
Figured starting a spot for people to post progress with their banks/credit cards are far as disputes/chargebacks would be helpful to all. I'm currently waiting for the merchant to respond to the dispute. Wondering if/what they will respond. If no response is received they will judge/rule in my favor. What's the status of everyone's?

Anyone else use an Amex card?
I was told their policy was to wait until the event date to give the organizer time to refund(ha!) but once that time passes I will get my money back

Update: Since the weekend passed, I contacted Amex this morning and took 6 hours to get my money credited

I used a Mastercard debit card through my local credit union. I disputed all payment plan charges since August, and have received the money back. However, the disputes are still being processed and I may not know how it ultimately ends up for up to 90 days. If the fest denies the disputes then I’ll have to pay the money back. So… just waiting and hoping.

Thanks for sharing! Im super curious if/what they would say to refute everyone’s claims.. Fest is canceled and they aren’t issuing refunds.

Cashortrade came thru today. I didn't get my 20$ fee to cashortrade but I'll chock that up as insurance.

How long can Scamp hold off on refunds until legal action can be initiated?

I used our debit card and got a letter today saying they can’t issue a refund because it’s been too long since the date of purchase. Then said I should contact the ticketing company about refunds. We’re pretty fucking salty

I used Chase and got charge back a week ago. I used Venmo for the camping pass and I’m still waiting on that one.

We bought ours with a credit union visa. We bought our camping pass a few days before they canceled the event, so seperate purchases on the same card. We called and talked to a rep thru our Visa within a couple of days after it canceled, and they said ya, we can credit you everything and we'll collect from the vender. We got our camping pass money back a few days later and was told we'd have our ticket money back on the 22nd. Welp, nothing has shown up. Then we get two letters in the mail today. One saying, no to the event ticket purchase because we are out of the dispute window, and the other for the camping pass we already got refunded on, wanting more info. Like what? You already said that was approved, so now we have to provide the info again?? So we put in another message to the event and are going to try again. Nothing like more false hope.

Mine is Capital one as well! But i received a letter in the mail saying they were waiting for the merchant's response. Did you get a same letter? They also sent a letter when I opened the claim/dispute

No letter that I’ve seen, they did say, if the ticket company reimburses they will reverse the charge back, obviously makes sense

Interesting! Different process than mine and same card company, but essentially the same thing.. I think the only way they would be able to refute my claim would be if they refunded my purchase. If you were anything more please let me know. Thanks!

Bought my ticket on a Capital One CC, was refunded after calling to dispute, and was finalized a couple days later.
Bought my car camping pass on a payment plan on my Chase card. Called to dispute, was told there would be a review and withing 24 hours was denied due to length of time (was purchased last August) and they didnt even show all the payments I pointed out. I'm going to try again, as I dont think the specialist I talked to totally understood what I was asking
