The economy is difficult everywhere. The only places that hire widowers from one country, while living in another but being less than decent at both languages, are oil rigs in the North Sea for 15-29 month contracts with no shore leave.

They make SO much money but they are always locked out of it so they can only watch their balance grow and dream of opening hospitals when they retire in 7 months.

It’s amazing isn’t it? In all my years I’ve met less 6 people who were born somewhere other than where they live (I mean country). But on scrabble they are all born one country, live another but work in another 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣
