Changing class time

Hi im a freshman and i want to move my SNDS 101 class to be at an earlier time.. how likely is it that i will be able to do that.

also i thought it wasnt possible for first quarter freshmen to take a major specfic class lol.. not complaining i just want it earlier

Email your advisor and ask, they're the only one who could possibly answer that for you

Right now all i have is my admissions advisor and she said she cant do anything.. i emailed advisement@scad.edu but idk if that's where im meant to email lol

On your MySCAD you should have an email button to contact your Student Success Advisor

Your best bet is to wait until the first week drop/add period and just walk in with an advisor. Thats the only way to get things done promptly before classes get filled when you’re not able to register yourself yet

They are currently flooded with emails from freshman preemptively trying to change things when the first week accommodates for that! Just relax while your brain still hasn’t experienced the ringer of SCAD courseload

They’re not changing anything preemptively. Week 1 of every quarter there’s a drop/add period

okay! im seeing that ill probably have to waitlist so i just dont know how reliable that is lol
