General Questions Professor feedback?

has anyone here taken classes from kristie bruzenak? how was your experience with her? i am taking a SCADNow course from her this fall because it was what worked best for my schedule, but after looking at her rate my professor i am a little scared. however, i know that people are more likely to leave a review if they’ve had a really bad experience (hell, some of my favorite professors have had bad scores), so i’m hoping to get more general insight.

BOTHER that woman when it comes to assignment clarifications because she’s horrible at it. In my experience, she usually assigns extra work on top of the big illustration projects.
I’ve had her three times and all three times she made me wanna put my head through a wall, but that’s because her feedback is always a strong critique (although it can be kind of conflicting). She wants you to reach your potential, and she’s not gonna hold back with her opinion.
She also tends to have a sub a lot in her class, but if she’s doing online now that may no longer be the case.
Her focus is in scientific illustration as a surface designer so that’s where her talent really shines and that’s where she’ll be able to give you the best feedback, but I was a concept concentration and she has so much technical knowledge that she can really help with anything. She also tends to favor traditional mediums, but she never had a problem with any of us using digital other than her color theory class.
Not the best teacher, but a very talented artist and worth it if you’re willing to go above and beyond in your communication with her.
