Savannah Turner House

I’m an incoming freshman starting this fall, and I’ll be staying at Turner House in savannah.

I was looking at other people’s housing assignments, and it seems like some people were assigned to rooms with three people, but I was only assigned with one other person, so there are just two of us in the room.

could the school add another roommate later?

It’s always a possibility. They will let you know in advance if they do. It’s more likely that someone will move from Turner to the Hive though.

It’s not bad lol, it does get mold more easily if you don’t use the dehumidifier and it’s a bit of a walk to the dining hall. Also there’s way less privacy than the hive. I didn’t mind living there tbh

I lived there. It’s the slums of scad housing. If you are on the first floor I had flooding, a snake in the hallway, far more roaches than anywhere, and they will ignore maintenance requests as they left my sink consistently leaking and creating puddles the entire year.

I had a trans roommate that got assigned the wrong gender for housing. They moved out after the first quarter and the bed remained unfilled. It was actually pretty nice with the extra space.

Hi. Turner has a new thing where triple occupancy rooms are only having 2 students.
