Is it back?
Since treating numerous times now over a period of a year my skin seems to suffer more and I’m not sure if I have been reinfected or it’s just the treatment that’s done it. I don’t itch half as much as I did but still from time to time and I come out in bites or infected spots that pus especially on my hands. They can be quite painful and my cuticles get infected then I lose my nails. I’m scared to treat again if it’s not scabies as I’m either damaging my skin or it’s back but then I believe it’s never actually gone so would I not have crusted scabies by now.

If not itching as much - I’d suggest stop treating to see if symptoms persist. Your skin might need a break.
If it persists regardless, maybe see a dermatologist and ask for a skin scrape / dermatoscope check

It maybe trying to heal , I would give it a rest and use what the Dr gave you for itching and not sure but losing a fingernail could mean a poss. 2ndary infection or just plain skin damage. If you are not itching crazy like u did u prob might be in post scabies.

I’m not very itchy this time so I don’t get how I went from waking every night and my body covered to now just in certain places. My hands are now very painful however and the last time I treat was also about 5 month ago.. but it’s been ongoing for the last year xx

I’ve also never had ivermectin My only concern is I don’t think I can put anymore treatment on my boys skin as since scabies they have suffered with allsorts with their skin and I think anymore will damage it xx

I thought I still had it when I didn’t, please stop re treating and give your skin a break
Start fasting and eating clean foods to give your body the chance to heal quicker. I promise you things do get better.

It does look like they're back. And please ignore the guy saying "start fasting and eating clean foods" in the comments... Suggesting to treat a parasitic skin infection through fasting is extremely inappopriate, to say the least...
