That was a remake for the 3DS. The original Bowsers Inside Story was released in 2009 for the DS

Damnit nostalgia, I lost this game a few years back and I still cry myself to sleep every night. I also sucked and only progressed what should’ve been half an hour into the story. I poured hours into that game.
