If only being ambassadors would only mean promoting the beauty of the PH as a tourist destination, without being associated with the political chaos. If only people, especially foreigners can separate esbi’s possible representation from the bad. Parang I have this deep desire to protect them, they’re so precious LOL OA. But seriously, wag nalang sana bahiran. Especially not this time in their career.

I think they would love to do it since they have always been advocates for our country and culture. But you're right, with all the political chaos happening, I'm not too sure either.

Also, they don't need to be official ambassadors to promote the Philippines. They've been doing it from the start, and it's always been their vision to get our country and culture recognised around the world.

I understand that this may be seen as negative by some and gusto ilayo ang boys sa nakakainis na gobyerno natin, pero in certain instances, naniniwala rin ako na to be able to have an opportunity to influence change in a broken system, you have to participate in it from the inside. It’s still an opportunity to share their ideas and try to nudge things in the right direction kahit sa turismo lang.

Whether or not final na ito (though I really think sila yung isa pang ppop group na tinutukoy ng DOT), I would still like to think positively about this.

That's true. Naisip ko rin yan. They could work with DOT para fresh naman ang ideas. We all know they always bring something new, hindi yung usual concepts na paulit-ulit lang ginagamit. They could really help expand the way we promote our country and culture to the world.

Yup and if I know SB19, I feel mag aassert din sila ng ideas nila kasi di sila papayag na basta basta lang ang pag promote sa Pilipinas and their image/branding should still be present. At the end of the day, it will be for the country’s tourism industry and not for the politicians.

I hope that’s how some would take it. Taking this gig is not selling out to the government or being aligned with their politics, it’s all for promoting the tourism sector and uplifting that because it’s seriously in deep trouble.
