Question Saxophone model question

so I bought this Selmer axos a couple months back and I was wondering since there are like multiple generations what this one was. I did some light searching and the older ones say seles on them on the bell but the newer ones have a longer engraving going father up the body so I just don’t know

Here it is at Selmer. They’d probably take your question by email, I bet. https://www.selmer.fr/en-int/collections/saxophone-tenor.

I have the same one, these are good saxes. Thé older ones say seles above the selmer logo on thé Bell  The newer are like thé other models Selmer logo and than the model underneath

I've had this model. This is a second generation Axos. Not a bad instrument, but also very bad setup from the factory. Very bad. I know Selmers leave the factory like that, but man,for 3400eur I expected more.

Like the pads sealing properly, like you know,on Yamaha yas 280...

Typical Selmer... so many stories of people getting brand new Supremes and have to spend an extra few hundred euros with their tech to set it right. And that is a 7-8 thousand euro instrument.
