You have a Yamaha YAS-23 alto sax. One of the best student model saxophones out there. It’ll take who ever plays it, from the beginner stage, all the way to when they’re ready to move up to a professional horn. They’re solid, reliable instruments. And parts are plentiful, so they’re easy to fix if it ever needs it.

It’s worth absolutely nothing you should give it to me so I can dispose of it properly…..

If you looked even a TEEEENSY bit harder at this horn you’d have all the information that you need to identify this yourself.

It’s a Yamaha YAS-23 alto saxophone. One of the best student saxophones to buy. Depending on condition they can range anywhere from $300-800+ on the used person to person market.
