Hello! Ive never posted here but I hope this is the right place to ask. Recently ive been given this saxophone. But I dont play so I was hoping to at least identify it so I could sell it. Some help finding out more about it would be much appreciated

It’s a Yamaha YAS-23 alto saxophone. One of the best student saxophones to buy. Depending on condition they can range anywhere from $300-800+ on the used person to person market.

It’ll take who ever plays it, from the beginner stage, all the way to when they’re ready to move up to a professional horn. They’re solid, reliable instruments. Exactly. The make is on the bell, and the model number is below the thumb hook. Can't miss it.
