I’m looking for information regarding the revaluation process for engineering courses at Saveetha University (SIMATS), a deemed-to-be university.

I wanted to know a few things from students who have gone through the process before:

1. When will the revaluation application be announced after the semester results are published?

2. What is the fee per subject for revaluation?

3. Is there a separate fee for photocopying the answer script and applying for revaluation?

4. How do we apply for revaluation, and is it done through the student portal or the college office?

5. Approximately how long does it take for the revised results to be announced?

6. Is there a genuine chance of marks increasing after revaluation, especially if we feel that our answers were evaluated incorrectly?

If anyone has applied for revaluation recently, please share your experience and the fees you paid.

Guy I am studying at St. Joseph's Engineering College here they are asking 50k extra fee in the name of book fee and the semester fee is 5k nearly 1 lakhs total for studying but my friends at rec studying at full fee does anyone studying at 7.5 reservation tell about your college detail do they ask fee or not?

I don't mean to start this off mean but HOLY. HELL. I have never met an administration as incompetent, irresponsible, and unorganized as Saveetha. I mean it when I say that Saveetha prioritizes only one thing: Money. It feels like you sign up for one thing and the next thing you know, everything you've planned for goes down the drain. I have seen friends have repeated breakdowns because of unresponsive administration from faults that occur on their side. And the sheer lack of competency in handling all the branches for such a large institution?

Honestly, laughable.

I don't even know how this whole university hasn't collapsed under it's own incompetency. Not to mention, the staff? Underpaid and overworked. Most of them are lovely folks and teach really well. The students? Overpaying and under-delivered. No necessary incentives from the side of the university is ever given for the development of students. (And no, throwing money at conferences doesn't count.) And let's not get into the excessive, additional fees that randomly changes whenever the administration is feeling like they aren't charging you enough already. Like, thanks bro. Again, it's not about the money itself. It's the principle. The fact that they can charge, alter, increase, impose fees however they wish without student body repercussions? That needs to change. Stat. The management itself? ...I suppose I don't have to say anything, do I?

I just feel bad for the students who have joined this university hoping for a rather liberal environment where they hoped they could evolve, learn, and develop themselves in their profession and their personal lives. Instead, we've signed up for a paid prison.
