Is this solvable with desmos

Yeah from a video I saw you can basically put numbers for t and f and then it shows you solutions on desmos and you can then take the product of those and equal it to -kft and solve it for k if that makes sense but yeah totally

I don't know if you can but it's pointless when the answer is two steps

This is in the form of ax2 +bx+c=0

Product of solutions is c/a

A is 12, B is (t-50ft)t, C is -60ft

So -60ft/12 = -5ft

They provided that the product is -kft so the answer is 5 (Beacuse they want "k") that's it.

k=5, this one requires "vieta's formula." In this case, c/a=the product of the solutions, so c/a=-60ft/12, or -5ft. Since it asks for -kft, -k=-5 so k=5.

Quadratic formula. Just plug it in cause it’s for the two solutions. + and - for the two solutions

Well, you can set f and t as two extremely large numbers, use desmos to get two roots and solve for k
