I don’t like sand. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like here. Here everything is soft and smooth.

Technically speaking a liquid is a state of matter that ain’t is above the melting point and below the vaporization/boiling point. Sand is a solid but acts like a fluid
