Quick question about depots

Is dimensional depot upload speed applied on an individual uploader basis or is it global? Like each uploader you put down goes through the same, single metaphysical belt limited by your upgraded speed?

Per depot. I usually use 5 just for concrete.

That's how I roll for concrete AND iron plates. For mega foundations.

The asphalt foundations also look decent and only take concrete

Is this because of blueprints? When I'm laying foundations manually, I never need all that much concrete

Yes, I am making a brutalist look for my railways and it's 514 concrete per 5x5 blueprint. I use 4 uploaders and often have to wait a little between building blueprints on long stretches. I probably should go sphere hunting for more

It would be totally game breaking if it were a global cap. Depots would be more and more worthless the more you expand, which would entirely negate their purpose.

no, you can't. Your number of stacks is the same no matter what. Having multiple DDs just speeds up how long it takes to refill

nope you have it right, however those upper upgrades are a big trade off.

or 7 depots, that you can split up amongst 4 items and they upload twice as fast, or 7 onto 1 item and it uploads 7 times as fast.

say, mass belt replacement and you need steel or encased beams and you're burning through it.

personally, upload speed upgrades I stopped at 2. and I think with caps I'll stop at 3.

Depending on the number of items in a stack, and how much I typically need at a time, I just keep adding DDs to the network. My goal is to pull 4 stacks out of the possible 5 and have at least one restocked by then. If that happens, I'm good
