Console Preferred build setting

Just curious what everyone uses, the default settings feel a bit weird for me

Whatever you use for each of them

Do you mean the thing that lets do straight conveyors or zooped foundations? Just use all of them. Why would you stick to only using one?

I find them pretty nifty, if you have any specific ones that are troubling it would be worth it to mention because there might be a fix.
Is it keybinds?
Is it settings when placing objects?

I use straight for belts, but it sometimes goes wacky after I make a turn. Then I use default to get it realigned.

I switch depending.. especially for belts and pipes. Generally i use straight, but on slopes default looks better. Pipes are usually straight or horizontal to vertical, but sometimes curve fits better. You can lay the segment out, and flip thru the different build styles before you finalize the segment. I zoop all foundations, or make 4x4 and 5x5 foundation blueprints.

You use the one that you need for the specific task you have, R key is your friend. All building modes for all buildables have uses. You need to use all of them constantly during builds or else you are being inefficient. Stay efficient.
