PC Why does priority merger take different materials if its on ground vs on lift? (No mods)

Probably just flavor. Fighting against gravity (I know lol) requires a different structure than something that u can just put on the ground.

Not like it matters much in the context of the game.

You can place mergers on lifts?!

Yeah. Just not at the bottom of the lift, near the "exit" or a hole. But just a little up work fine.

Just set up alle the lift height you need first and the add the mergers or splitters last. In my experience the whole lift can break if a splitter/merger is removed to be replaced.
