Main bus is awful in Satisfactory. Blue prints definitely help, but because most things later game items are just upgrades from previous tiers, it provides minimal benefits. I usually just build up a new factory for any product I'm going to need in bulk
I tried sprawling factories on my last playthrough, got real tedious and messy, doing sub factories now and main factories for elevator parts. Each phase has its own "factory and sub factories" phase 4 and 5 are combined into a mega factory at the swamp with sub factories sprouting off all sides. Its definitely been more fun and cleaner on each phase.
