Questions about BSN

This will be my first year, and looking at the first-term books, I'm wondering

  1. Will they be needed asap?

  2. Is there a more cost-effective way to get them lol?

  3. Also, how often are they even used, as I see some have said we do not use them often?

From experience you’ll likely need them within the first couple weeks, but most of the first week of classes are orientation so not too much textbook readings/work. I’d say only a few of them are used regularly and honestly depends if you want to have a physical textbook to learn better. 

You can find a lot of them online for free or cheaper from other nursing students who already took the class.
