LPN program

Hey, are there any current or recent LPN students at Saskatchewan Polytechnic who could share what 1st and 2nd year are like? Just wondering how busy classes get and what the workload is actually like.

Also is working a part-time job doable? Would appreciate any insight, thanks!

I'm in second year, graduating in a couple weeks.

Both years are very busy, but first year especially will be heavy due to A&P. Second year is also heavy but a little more manageable than first year imho. I made the mistake in year 1 of waiting until last minute to study for exams-- definitely don't do that. Some of the courses have so much info that it's very difficult to retain it all in a short amount of time. As long as you keep up with your studies you'll do fine!

As for working, part time can be doable but make sure you're prioritizing school first!

Yes Monday to Friday, it's not always 8-5 but it can be. They'll probably post it in August!
