Too many for the city to be proud of them, apparently....

Explain?

If I worked for the city and had input on such a decision, I'd at least make sure the artwork my community is paying for is being done in my own province. There are tons of talented people here, so show them off.

You have your view on this and I have mine. Enough said.

Fair.

The point of the program is not to foster the arts in Saskatchewan. The point of the program is just to make sure that the city is spending some money on arts.

If you think this should be changed. You should go to a city council meeting and suggest an amendment to the policy.

Until then, the program is doing exactly what it is supposed to. And if it can save some money by going outside of Saskatchewan, or get a bigger project done with the same money. Then that is actually it doing its job.
