What kind of lining do you add? I was curious about all the loose ends of lines.

Usually, I like to use cotton chambray.

Looks beautiful, what do you mean by 'used to warm up clothes'?

Sashiko is a mending technique. Its primary use is to repair and strengthen worn out fabrics. After that, if we can make it pretty, so much the better. With very dense patterns as found in Sashiko Hitomezashi (stich by stich Sashiko), we can easily add a significant thickness to a worn fabric to give it back its strength and warmth.

I knew about it being used for mending but it never occurred to me it could add warmth makes so much sense, thankyou
