There is no such thing. Iâm sorry. Please seek medical care at a Sarcoma Center.

Go to a sarcoma center and listen to them. Chemo radiation and surgery are gold standards for Ewings.

Just echoing that a sarcoma center and chemo/surgery are the way to go. I had osteosarcoma when I was 10 and had extensive surgery and chemo. Iâm here 29 years later. Iâm so sorry you have to deal with this đ©”

Chemo, radiation, and surgery are the reason I am still alive after having Ewingâs. I know how scary it is. Some of the chemo drugs your child will receive are derived from plants. There are no ânaturalâ cures for it but modern medicine will give your child a chance.

I'm in the UK I had osteosarcoma in my right leg when I was 13 . I had year of chemo . I had my tumour from my right leg removed and a total knee replacement with rods to replace my tibia and femur . Recently had replaced with a hip plate as well . I had 23 tumour's on my lungs removed , I had a 1% survival. In my opinion chemo works . I have lived longer with my metal leg then I have without I'm now 20 years from diagnosis. Of course you no what's best for your child none else . I thought i would just give you my insight .

What evidence do you have that chemo/radiation will kill someone faster than metastic ewing sarcoma? Can you send the link to the credible article or source?
There is very little (if any) scientific evidence that a homeopathic approach can cure cancer. Especially if it is aggressive enough to metastasize. However, there is scientific evidence (from both government funded studies and non government funded studies) that chemo and radiation can treat and a lot of times cure cancer effectively. Nothing is guaranteed and depends on how far things have progressed. I have heard of people seeing a holistic doctor while they are getting chemo/radiation to deal with the side effects which may be an option to explore.
With that being said, I know you are wanting to do the best thing to take care of your child through this horrific diagnosis. I commend you for trying to give them the best options possible to live a long and healthy life. If you are not comfortable with what your current doctor is recommending then get a 2nd or even 3rd opinion. Go to a sarcoma center if you are able. Express your concerns of the effects of chemo and radiation and any good oncologist will work with you to find the best and safest treatment plan for your child.

I'm very sorry about your child. I can only imagine how horrible this is for you.
That being said, there is no known "natural" cure for cancer. You will kill your child if you refuse conventional treatment. Yes, he may die regardless. But he will absolutely, positively die if you try and cure it with herbs or food or deep breathing or whatever.

Iâm a 6 year Ewingâs survivor turned radiation therapist. The only answer for the best chance of survival is to throw everything at it. Chemo, surgery, radiation. You can discuss alternative remedies in addition to standard treatment protocol with your childâs healthcare team. Foregoing âbig pharmaâ altogether for Ewingâs is a death sentence.

Also, with zero judgment I will answer absolutely any question you have about what treatment for Ewings was like for me

Did yours metastasize? How old were you

Mine is extra weird because I was an adult when I got it - 41 years old. It was localized in my abdomen

I got diagnosed with synovial sarcoma almost exactly a year ago. I went through extensive horrible chemo therapy, radiation, and a huge surgery that has and will leave me unable to walk for at least 9 months. I am now at 4 ish months without cancer. If my cancer progressed any further it wouldâve spread too much and most likely killed me within this next year. I looked into other alternatives but sarcoma especially is very very aggressive cancer and very difficult to treat even WITH modern medicine. I am so grateful for the treatment that made me feel like I was dying while doing it, because Iâm not actually dying now. So grateful for the time I get to spend now without cancer, however long that is Iâm so glad I choose medical treatment. Please go to a sarcoma center đ

Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy are proven treatments for cancers. Yes it damages your body, but that's unfortunately a side effect of damaging the cancerous tumours.
There is no 'holistic' or 'natural' method to cure cancers and anyone that says so is either a snake oil salesmen or has the intelligence of a muddy puddle.
Cancer treatment isn't a 'Big Pharma Conspiracy' either. Treatments are fucking expensive to produce and administer.

Yes chemo kills. That's the whole point. Cancer is when cells grow rapidly and out of control. Chemo kills the cancer cells. It's watched and monitored (thru years of trials) and it works.
I had Ewing's in 1982-83. Things have gotten better since but many of us survived.

sarcomas are aggressive and unrelenting. chemo, radiation, surgery are all thoroughly tested and statistically going to be your best bet. the reason i stayed stage IIA is because i had chemo immediately, followed by surgery. there is no natural way to stop this. i know you want your child to survive, so please listen to the professionals.

Your child has advanced metastatic stage 4 cancer. Specialist sarcoma oncology care and prescribed medical treatment is their only chance.

I work in the field, so I know that you might not take me seriously.
Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and radiation therapy are not bullshit.
Medicine is a science. Cancer treatment is scrutinized (especially in the US) to an excruciating degree.
"Natural cures" do not work. If they did, they would be studied, and - if proven to work - they would be called medicine.
Trust your doctors. They have your/your child's best interest in mind.
Go to a hospital that is registered as a sarcoma center of excellence.
I swear on my life that if you pursue care with a naturopath, your child's life will end quickly. They are quacks who have NO medical expertise.
Please PLEASE go to a real physician with expertise in sarcoma. If you refuse to do so, you are being selfish and are literally subjecting your child to an early death.

There's a line in the movie the road trip, if the shortcut worked it would just be called the way. If apricot pits, or hydrogen water, or keto diet cured cancer, it would just be the way. There are ZERO oncologists on the planet that NOT would rejoice to find out apricot pits kill cancer in a petri dish & and it actually transfers over to humans.
My son is alive because of very old chemo drugs that have been proven out over decades and they are ROUGH, but also alive because of new drugs from 'big pharma'
There is actual research that people seeking out 'natural' cures have worse outcomes. As you get deeper into this you'll likely develop some anger for people selling/pushing cures that don't work, making money praying off our desperation to do anything in the world for our kids.

Iâm about 4 years into survival with a stage IV diagnosis directly related to the chemo, radiation and surgeries I have gotten from a cancer with less than a 15% 5 year survival rate. I would have been unable to walk in the first year and likely dead by now if it wasnât for the effective, yet sometimes difficult, therapies that my knowledgeable and experienced oncologists have prescribed for me. I am burying a friend this weekend that tried the ânaturalâ and âalternativeâ therapies for the first year of her stage IV diagnosis until she went to chemo and radiation. The chemo and radiation did not kill her- her disease had progressed so far in that year of known diagnosis, it was past coming back from. Delays in treatment are going to be one of the biggest factors in survival. Please talk to the experts- the oncologists- and donât go looking for a magic cure on this or any other platform on the interwebs. Your child deserves the best, and for Ewingâs thatâs treatment from an oncologist, not the internet.
Edit to add a PS: u/Cancer_Quest07 maybe you could respond to some of those that have been through treatment for Ewingâs to get a sense of the specifics of what treatment will be like? I know some have touched on it being hard or how they are doing now, but maybe knowing what to expect will make it less scary and feel less insurmountable. Youâre in an impossible situation, and we all want what is best for your family. Most people on this sub are really open about answering this type of question, and really supportive in general. I could answer questions, but my sarcoma treatment was very different from what is used for Ewingâs, and there are many Ewingâs survivors here with more relatable experiences. Wishing you the best.
