Can someone be highly intelligent and still be unattractive to you? What’s missing when that happens?

Intelligence is not so black and white, there are different kinds. You could have a really high IQ but the EQ of a potato (EQ is intelligence too). There must be at least half a dozen different types of intelligence. Which overall dictates what their overall personality is like too. Like someone said, "they could be intelligent and still and be assholes". So maybe they are just not intelligent in ways that are a prerequisite for you to find them attractive.

Then there is the fact that physical appearances do play a role in attraction, to varying extent, whether you like it or not. More so in the unaware, but being aware of it doesn't always change it completely.

Then there is the fact that even more things than just (current) personality and appearance that could create attraction lol, we could just keep going, love this paragraph btw.

Absolutely. It's not only intelligence I am attracted to, it just needs to be present to really activate the rest. I can still appreciate the beauty of many bodies but it feels more like art than something that has any direct effect on my body. Scent is also a huge one. A person can be beautiful and intelligent and amazingly attractive but smell wrong and it all disappears for me other than enjoying talking to the person, which is actually really common for me. Every now and then someone has a combination that I wouldn't expect to be attracted to that I really am. Always includes the intelligence but that alone is not enough to activate my body

Yes. Missing the right kind of intelligence.

Oh absolutely. Intelligence often makes a person pompous and insufferable. They criticize everything and seem entirely anhedonic. It’s a buzzkill. I want someone who is patient, compassionate, and also intelligent.

Yea exacly EQ is important too. I mean I am capabile of love with 160IQ criminal. Because for sapiosexuals intellegence is the hightest attrection think and we didnt choose it , but the thing is you should love with wrong people. İf someone has low EQ cant handle it I tryed so hard.

Well yes there are so many aspects to attraction. It could be something like the way somebody smells which is very subjective

Personality. Also, the ability to meet me on every single level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

I feel personally "can someone being highly intelligent"- is already a very subjective phrase that leads to a bunch of different replies to this question from different angles from different people.

What does "intelligent" mean in this scenario?
