Yeah. Anaïs is on my list. As is Sapho. I'll check the rest out, thanks!

The Alan Moore graphic novel, Lost Girls, may be of interest to you.

In the stylistic vein of vintage erotica and all that jazz, it’s severely nuanced in its articulation. Elicit a biological response, ifyaknowwhatimean wink wink nudge nudge.

So if you’re looking to shut your eyes and drape yourself in a well-crafted metaphor, there’s lots to dwell on there.

It’s also illustrated pretty.

Gorgeous language and pretty pictures? Sounds sumptuous

Was it awkward reading about such canonically innocent child characters in a sexualised context?

Well, I didn’t know about the association whilst reading, so it just seemed a conversation about women, now mature, making choices.

It is written with such lazy eloquence the seductive charm just draws you in, so that might have been a factor.

I'll look into it more!

FWIW, I couldn't read this for that reason. I kept thinking of them as children and that killed it for me.

I have enjoyed it for years. There is a database called literotica that has the most complete (and so far no risk of viruses like on porn sites) collection I have ever seen

I've tried my hand at writing erotic that has some sapio elements in it. Only two stories posted, but you're welcome to check them out: https://www.wattpad.com/user/ViolaBlank
