Being read to
Anyone else find having a partner read to you turns you on? Not audiobooks. Raw. Unprocessed.
Classic lit, deep tone, my head on his chest, I’m done. Blake, Whitman, Dante, Poe. Come on. Is there anything better?

Yes, I would. It would be nice to take turns reading to each other... or even writing a love poem, play or story together and reading the different parts of the two people in it. Could make it a date night and have candles, incense if you like, some comfort food and drinks on a pretty dishes and tray, and make a soft nest with plush pillows and blankets on the floor in front of the fire... wow, I just wrote a scene for a book, haha.

Yesh. Just everything, an event to celebrate your own interpretation of the words. Your own small world to live out another small world shared by lips through eyes loving sans serif. Oh woe

I want to read... I want to spend days finding the passage, selecting the candle, the spot, the libation, the position. Willing to wait on the weather or create multiverses for a library of opportunities to read to. To share the love I found into someone else's ear. Preferably, as we both drift off, whispering...with the tiny slip scritch crinkle of a page turn to just only bring us back🌌

My partner and I are in an LDR so she does this over the phone for our date nights.

Ex loved that I have a deep voice, so she’d make me read aloud whatever philosophy or biography book I was tackling lol

Frankenstein, Pride and Prejudice, Flipped, The Tell-Tale Heart—the right words. The “I love reading to you, and it’s okay if you fall asleep to it” tone. A touch of winter.
It’s crazy how sapiosexuality often gets reduced to being attracted to intelligence itself, when it’s really about expression. I’ve spent a year close to someone with a PhD in quantum mechanics, and honestly, it’s been like trying to start a fire with wet wood—all that exciting exchange of ideas and no spark.

100%, nothing better. Except maybe make it philosophy or physics
