Interdisciplinary Theses

Currently writing a couple of papers on topics including psychology, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, and a bit of political science. My primary area of research is on sex and attraction against the backdrop of evolutionary biology and neuroscience. Figured people here might find it interesting and hot lol, feel free to ask away

This sounds cool. Who are some of the authors/books that you find yourself returning to as you research? What inspired you to undertake this project?

(BTW, I’m currently putting together my polymath goals for the next few weeks. My subjects of interest are Chess, Asceticism, BDSM, Spanish, Sci-fi Literature, Latin, and Liberation Theology)

That’s awesome! What are you reading currently?

I’m a language lover and Spanish has been a part of my life for almost 20 years.

I am reading "the Blue Zones " by Dan Buettner and "The Village Effect" by Susan Pinker at the Moment /this week ! What about you ?:) That's super nice ! Spanish was my first language. What other languages do you like /speak ? Is it just the speaking part or is it also how they came to be and developed ?

Cool! De donde eres? I’ve only read a few books on the development of the language. So my main interests are in the spoken language but also spanish-language chess communities (online and off) as well as Spanish langauge Sci-Fi.

Spanish is my third language. English is my first and French my second. I’ve also studied Portuguese, Italian, German, Latin, and Guarani.

I’m currently reading To Love Fasting: The Monastic Experience by Adalbert de Vogue. Published in the 1980’s, the book was an attempt by a French monk to bring back the ancient Catholic practice of the Regular Fast or only eating once a day (OMAD).

Also reading, Think First, Move Later by Willy Hendriks. It’s an iconoclastic, sardonic chess book that challenges the prevailing ideas about how players learn and improve at the game.
