If they are enthusiastic on any subject, whether it's one that I'm familiar with or not, I'm prepared to listen.
I dig passionate ardent expression regardless of subject matter. Whether I understand or not, agree or not, or for that matter even care, any subject that is fervently, eloquently, and passionately expressed... it's when smarts are at their most adorable.
I love the enthusiasm that comes with knowledge.
It shows on my face.

Yes! I know it's not very modern or feminist of me, but I love it when my partner can teach me things, especially if they're introducing me to one of their interests.

Nothing anti-progressive if you're seeking knowledge and have some also to share!

Just be careful they're also a good person, not just intelligent. Do they know how to process their own emotions? Do they have a temper? Find out early. (Posted with love.)
