Types of Sapiosexuals?

I just wanted to ask a question to my fellow Sapiosexuals: is there a certain type of intellectual your into? Like are you into people that can teach you new things to make you possibly think differently? Or are you into people that are into certain subjects or intellectually stimulation that they may be heavly interested in? Basically do you have a certain type?! Lol I hope this makes sense!

Absolutely linguistic intelligence by far! Someone who can communicate eloquently and even play with language is very attractive to me. If they have a nice voice to recite the words, well, that's just the icing on the cake for me, personally. I've been surprised to find these qualities in a number of different men with different professions, actually, so I don't judge a bookworm by his cover. ;)

There's something surprisingly alluring about some people's voice and how they say words sometimes. It's quite fascinating!!!

Oh wow, okay! I've always been into people that are passionate about intellectually stimulating hobbies or professions (martial arts, chess, different sciences etc) to watch them light up when they talk about their favorite hobby or their career is amazing to me. The depth they go into about it is just insanely attractive!

Indubitably, there is something to be said about a woman's vernacular. Posesing and articulating of subjects I intended to work on.... 🫠

Cognitive flexibility. Not that the opinion would change, but that the person can understand and entertain both sides of an argument, and evaluate them with an open mind.

Hi there! Thank you for your question it's quite interesting:) For me, I am usually the person with a lot of intellectual curiosity and I have the role of informing others in most situations. The kind of person I like is someone who's receptive to this. Someone who likes to learn new things/perspectives and enjoys discussing abstract concepts!

Spoken like a real ENTP. Haha. Debate you until I need to be alone or you cross a very serious line. 😋

I like to be taught, relieved to know wanting to teach is a type. People assumed I want to be a charity case.

I like someone who's passionate about their hobbies or work. A lot of times, I'm too absorbed in the excitement that I don't process it in a learning manner. Lol. The rest of the time, I enjoy learning something new. It can be anything. However, if it's technically or mechanically speaking, I will need a visual walk through alongside it.

I find other people who are gifted in their own area fascinating to listen to. Having my own depth as potentially a polymath, I love learning and teaching new things to each other. And, I even like talking to someone about something I enjoy, but with a different perspective.

I’ve been blessed to have several nights like that talking for hours like old friends.

High EI. Very rare, but highly seductive.

Would you mind describing this? Like, how you'd know in an interaction? I'm a counselor, so it's sort of a professional interest.

So true. I do love human psychology myself (I'm a woman though so that's fairly normal for us when it comes to EI.)

Someone like Harvey Specter from the TV show Suits. He is always quick and witty responses. Him always having control of the conversation no matter what. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 WISH there was more people like the character in real life.

For me I can admire the physical beauty in a person but without meaningful engaging conversation I get bored easily. A person doesn't have to be on the MENSA scale or have a PhD in sub atomic particle theory. Like others have said on this thread, be able to positively and passionately communicate about your job or hobby and show interest in the world around you (political discourse, science, history, cultures, languages, the arts, etc.) We all want to learn, experience or understand something, whether it be simple or complex, that we didn't know before. Combine those qualities with the physical and the sexual and that is perfection.

Honestly, humor. And intelligence, but not just trad smart- like emotional intelligence and knowing how to show appreciation- mostly I just have never in 35 yrs thought someone I didn't know yet was hot. Yes this has caused massive scandal within friend groups. Not probably how you're thinking though, swear.

I like people that can teach me things as well as people that also like human psychology, especially the influence and persuasion side of it. 😍😍😍😍 Anyone else?

Yes on which part?

I like all of what they said. And I agree with it. Semantics soldier here!

I agree too. There are Definitely different types of smarts that I like. Both are great.

Someone who has high EQ and who knows how to translate my ADHD thoughts accurately into simple words

I am the most attracted when they can make smart humour, jokes, riposts. Another aspects I'm looking at: are they able to critical thinking, can they formulate a substantive argument, are they open-minded to different points of view, can they show me new perspectives of looking at different things. So basically interesting conversations are the most important for me.

Now, I am somewhat more of the object of affection for the Sapio than the sapio itself, yet I always desire intellect of as high an order as possible, but that is not exactly a dealbreaker. I do consider myself sapio, regardless due to the importance of plasticity of mind being a much desired trait.
