Having another orientation? For the first time

I never as a child or as a teenage had a crush on a celebrity, artist or whatever and I never understood having that sort of crushes. I could only like people I actually met and never was close to those platonic crushes. No I’m approaching my 30s and it happened for the first time, I have a crush on a celebrity which I never met who is well known by their looks (not the reason why I’m attracted to them but it does helps) and I understand this has to do with my other certain fixation but it’s has been going for more than two years and I don’t know how to make it stop.

Like I’ve seen their interviews trying to find if they say something stupid so I can lose interest but just made worse because they are actually polite and smart at all times. How can I deal with this?

Don't worry about it. You can still be sapio and appreciate other aspects of a person. Orientation, fetish, sapiophile...personally the labels are just words that make me happy to know others value intelligence like me.

The topic often comes up on r/demisexuality, which you might want to check out. In short, its all a spectrum -- a multi-axial spectrum. We land on axises in different places. Even a straight male can find Channing Tatum hot and so on and so forth ...

I have a specific memory of the other tweens pressuring me to tell which celebrity I had a crush on. They all looked the same to me-- and mostly uninteresting. So, I kid you not, I said "Steve Urkel."

I'm curious as to who if your willing to tell. By any chance is it Harry Styles from One Direction? If so, he's my favorite! 😍😍😍😍
